Welcome to The House of Prayer! We are a non-denominational church located in Chesterfield, VA. The House of Prayer is a Bible-based church that is focused on loving God, serving people, and building the kingdom locally and around the world. We have been a part of the greater Richmond community for over 35 years. We are a church that has planted other churches all over Virginia and literally around the world. The House of Prayer leads a network of churches that are also impacting their communities and represent states domestically and nations from all around the world. We love Jesus Christ. We are committed to His Word. We engage in passionate worship. We value each other and those around us. We practice prayer and desire to see our community and the world impacted with the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Those are just a few of our values. If those values resonate with you and you would like to learn more about us, feel free to watch a video, peruse through our ministries, download a podcast, contact us, or better yet, join us on a Sunday! It would be our privilege to welcome you to one of our Sunday services!

Jesus replied, "The most important commandment is this: ;Listen, O Israel! The Lord your God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.' The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these." ~ Mark 12:29-31
