The Spanish Ministry at The House of Prayer is called Casa de Oracion, which is simply a translation of the church name into Spanish. The ministry is lead by Luis and Julieta Hernandez, a couple with 20 years of ministry experience planting Spanish-speaking churches on the East Coast and ministering in Mexico. Luis has a combined degree in Transcultural Missions and Small Groups from IMMM College in Morelia, Mexico. Julieta studied at the same institution focusing on the areas of Pastoral Care and Missions. They have been married for 15 years and have two amazing children named Joy and Jonathan! Their passions and priorities are God, Family, Local Church, Sound Biblical Doctrine, and Vibrant, Sincere Worship! They have the vision of The House of Prayer for all nations and are making a difference for the Kingdom of God by reaching the Hispanic population in Richmond, VA.
Our vision is to build an authentic church locally, expand God’s Kingdom globally, love Jesus and serve people everywhere! Casa de Oracion holds a service every Sunday at 1 pm in the Main Sanctuary.
