Young at Heart Seniors
There resides among us a treasure. One that God has spent years
purifying, perfecting and preparing. That treasure is not gold, but
rather silver. It is not the metal, we call silver but rather a mettle
of a different sort, earmarked by an earthly crown, that of silver
hair. That treasure is our elderly, or seniors, who reside in our
midst and who are prepared through their life experiences to aid, to
assist, to encourage, and to guide us on the path of life. They have
walked before us and now have the hands of experience that carry the
guidance and wisdom of the Lord to make a difference in the body they
love.
"Remember the days of
old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will
tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you."

Jesus said, "You
shall love (agape) the Lord your God with all your heart, and with
all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and
foremost commandment." The second is like it, "You shall love
(agape) your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend
the whole Law and the Prophets.
