The First Impressions team is the guest services arm of HOP. From the moment someone enters our property, walks through our doors, checks in their children, and finds a seat, our team ensures that guests are welcomed, directed, and connected. We also provide a free drink at our EXO café and an opportunity to meet some of our leadership team in our Welcome Room after the service.
HOP Kids is the children’s ministry at House of Prayer. While you’re enjoying the weekend service, your kids, newborn through 5th grade, are learning about God’s Word in a safe, fun, and engaging environment that utilizes different learning styles to help kids grow in their faith. This ministry is broken down into age specific groups and has meaningful worship, games, team-building activities, and interactive crafts and snacks that reinforce the Bible teaching for that week. We love kids, and we know that your kids will love HOP.
EXO student ministries is the youth ministry of the House of Prayer for middle and high school students, ages 11-18. The youth ministry meets every Wednesday night in the Central campus main auditorium from 7:00-8:30. In addition to weekly services, age specific small groups meet during the week to build relationships and connect students to the Bible in practical ways. We also have fun ministry events throughout the year to help students better connect with each other and their faith.
We believe that growth in our relationship with God happens better in small groups. Connect Groups are part of the culture of our church and are vital to building relationships and connecting with God’s Word in a practical way. There are a variety of Connect Groups that meet at different times throughout the year. Whether it’s an interest group, a Bible study group, or an activity group, we are confident that there is one that is right for you!
Worship is a lifestyle, and it gives us an opportunity to give glory to God and experience His presence in our lives. In our weekend services, you’ll experience powerful and inspiring worship in an atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and inspired.
Our Creative Team helps to create the right environment during our weekend worship experiences and special events. We want people to connect with God when they come to House of Prayer and we are dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is conducive to making that happen every weekend for everyone walking in the door. We are passionate about creating God moments in creative ways through video, audio, media, lighting, construction, and décor.
Prayer is a core value at HOP, and we believe in its power. While God intends for us all to pray, we have a team dedicated to praying for others. Whether it’s praying on Sundays before our services, praying for others on our church-wide prayer chain, or praying for people that respond to the message during our weekend services, HOP is rooted in taking our needs to God first. .
House of Prayer has been dedicated to missions since the early days of the church. We have planted over 20 churches domestically and partnered to help with another 100 around the world. We have major missions efforts in Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia including 2 schools in Africa that educate over 2,000 children a year. Whether it’s foreign or domestic, missions is a core value of our church. We take the Great Commission that Jesus gave in Matthew 28:18-20 very seriously and are committed to creating disciples around the world.
